yep the eagles are officially in the super bowl but the thing is the patriots are coming back for another super bowl win again (well the red sox fans in boston are going to go crazy now)! im sorry but im rooting for the eagles cause they have never been to a superbowl since the 80's (i think! if im wrong tell me)! any ways heres hoping that the patriots dont get another super bowl trophy!!!!!!

This storm has caught people off guard! 1. The I15 was closed between St. George (where i work) and cedar city (where i live) due to an accedent that was weather related (lots of snow)! 2. then on monday sevral rivers in st. george (the city i work in) started to flood and and go in high levels infact one road that is close to a free doctors clinic in St. George was shut down due to flooding and St. George got a lot of rain! 3. Then today St. George still had more flooding and out of noware the Santa Clara river in Santa Clara started erroding the side of the river and during this it erroded land and then a house finally went down stream and then more house got taken down this river! 4. last i checked several more houses got collapsed by the 10 o' clock news here in utah at least 30-45 houses got swept away by 2 rivers the santa clara river and the virgin river! but utah wasnt the only place affected by this storm CA got the same amount of problems infact one town is rocked by a land slide that took out a whole nehiborhood! i have to say this to get help for all these people affected from so. CA to so. yes this is my new addition to my blog! my crtics corner im going to cover everything from video games to flash films to short films online (from atom films) and internet based tv shows and even movies how im going to rate them is based on colors of a street light Red, yellow and green (red means crap yellow means ok and green means that was the bomb)!!!!!!!!!!! now hereis my first critic and it's on the internet computer hacking show the broken! first i need to explain how i found this show! well all i need to say is i was channel surfing at my parents house and i cought this show called xplay! well during this time i was living on my own and the apartment i lived in the tv was paid with the rent the only problem was the apartment complex did not have techtv which carried this show called xplay! well a few years down the road i moved in with my parents who had this techtv network on there tv! so i had a chance to watch this show called xplay and slowly i started watching other shows like Call for Help and The Screen Savers and even unscrewed! well on screen savers there was this guy called kevin rose and he mentioned his site kevin rose .com ! well i started visiting the site when i got on the internet and i saw this link to this thing called the broken and i was at the forums for tech tv and some one explained the broken and soon i went to the broken.org to see what this was all about! i noteced you needed divx to watch it at this time to get divx for free it came with adware and i could not down load it on my dsl conection so i gave up on watching it! a few months later i was being told to watch it see what you think so now finally i did get to watch it and heres what i think about it ! first the tips are very easy to understand and its very funny! second they seem to just love beer and cuss this internet show is not for the little kiddies! if you were to break the show down its like jackass with out the pain (due to what they do and the disclamer at the begining)! also i think the shows are fun to watch i mean if they were going to put this on MTV everyone would watch it! i think the most interesting thing is the console modding segment in episode three you can see how easy it is to modd an xbox compared to a ps2 and game cube ! and i have to say ramzi is very funny! i give this show defenate green light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was some speculation that MS was going to take the HD out to make it more difficult to Mod. 2) Flash based HD... Yes!!! It was told to me that the HD was going to be flash based... small size fast access... BAM! 3) No Stupid Dongle DVD playback... Yes!!! The reason that the first Xbox didn't have built in DVD playback is a simple one, Sony owns the Intellectual Property rights for DVD playback. Nuf said... 4) Xbox II at E3... Hell Yes!!! There will be an Xbox II maybe more at E3 this year... 5) Xbox II release date announced at E3... another Hell Yes!!! MS will be announcing a release date for Xbox II... Now this is not like the "rumors" about IBM before these are hard cold facts from the horses mouth... well that was interesting the only thing we dont know is if the disc format will be blue ray or hddvd we may know at C.E.S. or even at E3 as stated above?

Getting geeks to ‘come out of their shell’ is very hard. Rehearsing the question with them ahead of time always helped but as soon as they were on live television it usually went to hell. Nonetheless, I kept plugging away. After the next couple weeks of pre-producing the first live caller, I started to get some heat from my Executive Producer, Paul Block. Even with the callers I found from viewer mail, they still weren’t interesting enough for him. People get nervous on TV. Hell, I would get nervous on TV, it’s not easy. I explained to Paul Block and Joshua Brentano (the new Series Producer) that the demographic we’re using for the live calls isn’t working. Most of the TSS fans are geeks, they’re introverts. This is where The Screen Savers as you once knew them changed completely. I was ordered by Paul Block and Joshua Brentano to generate questions for live callers. But these weren’t any live callers. They wanted me to use G4 employees, friends, family, whomever. Basically, I would think of a question and give that question to a designated caller. So now, the A block callers were manufactured questions and callers. I used TSS producer’s friends and family, Peter Green’s assistant (Sr. VP of Programming & Production - this was done with his OK, btw), my girlfriend, and countless other people to create the ruse that these were genuine questions coming from our viewing audience. At this point my work suffered exponentially because my heart just wasn’t in my job anymore. The live aspect of the show just died, and I stopped believing in the most unique show on television. I was called into Paul Block’s office two other times this time I was threatened to lose my job. Here’s a quote from that meeting, “Dan, if I didn’t like you, I’d fire you right now.” Was Paul correct in saying that? Maybe, but I was forced to go against what four years of college told me not to do: lose my ethics. I fought them every chance I could, I tried my best to uphold the dignity and the ethics of The Screen Savers.
